Johanny Velasquez

Johanny Velasquez is a 2000 birth year player from Tehachapi, CA who commutes 2 hours to Los Angeles 4 days a week to play for the California Heat. A forward exclusively until this year, he has since been switched to defense. Johanny carries a 3.9 GPA and plans to pursue an environmental engineering degree while in college. Johanny is also passionate about giving back to the future generations of hockey players by giving lessons and mentoring the youth. In addition, Johanny is also a two-time World Stunt Skating Champion who received his first signature professional skate at 10 years old. He was raised and trains year-round at one of the worlds largest action sports and gymnastics facilities in the world, Woodward Camp.
